I graduated from SDSU in Brookings, S.D. in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology. I started working in the Minneota Public School in the fall of 1993. I work with children ages 0-21 with communication disorders. I like the variety of ages I work with and also the variety of activities I do with students.

An Articulation (speech) Disorder is having difficulty producing speech sounds correctly. A Language Disorder can be a disorder of form (grammar and word order), content (word meanings) or use (using language for a variety of purposes) or any combination of the above. Children may also exhibit voice or fluency (stuttering) disorders. Parents are often the first adults to notice a possible delay in their child's speech or language development.

I live in Minneota with my husband, Eric. Our oldest daughter is attending college at SMSU. Our son is a junior at Minneota High School and our youngest daughter is in kindergarten. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, gardening and traveling.
