Hello!
I was hired in Minneota in 1994 to teach children with special needs. I graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1981 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education with certifications in Mild to Moderate Mentally Handicaps and Moderate to Severe Mentally Handicaps. |
{Roberta Josephson, High School Spec. Ed.} |
Following college graduation I taught in Monticello, MN for four years and Russell-Tyler-Ruthton schools for nine years. I have attended Mankato State and Southwest MN State University to further my education and to become certified in Learning Disabilities and Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities.
I am married to Scott, a veterinarian at Tri-County Veterinary Clinic in Taunton, MN. We have three children, Erin, Adam, and Isaac. We enjoy time together with raising and showing cattle in 4-H, sports (land and water) especially football, wrestling, and baseball, playing music, singing, and hunting.
I believe that teaching isn't just about imparting knowledge to my students. It is also caring about whether students are happy or sad on any given day. It is about looking for talents and gifts in each individual student and helping to cultivate those gifts.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email or call me for more information.
