Hello! My name is Hollie Thompson.  I am the Early Childhood Special Education teacher.  My job is to identify and service young children birth through age seven that have disabilities.  I did my graduate studies for ECSE at St. Cloud State University.  I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and minor in Early Childhood.

My personal life consists of raising three boys, Braxton, Braden and Blake.  Braxton and Braden are twins. They are nine years old and in fourth grade at the Dawson-Boyd Elementary School. They love football, basketball, baseball, water sports, and hunting.  Blake is three years old going on 9 years old.  He tries so hard to keep up with his older brothers.  He loves playing in his sand box and with his tractors.  My husband, Jerry , farms with my dad north of Dawson.

In ECSE, we offer the opportunities to experience several different field trips such visiting the fire station, pumpkin patch, baby turkey farm, and baby lamb farm.  The children love to be able to experience hands on learning.

Everyday we have a good morning circle time.  The children learn to sing ABC's, nursery rhymes, counting, weather watching, and story of the day. Each day children get a chance to work on the skills that they need extra help with.

If you have any questions regarding your child's development, please do not hestitate to call.
