Independent Study

The Independent Study Program for Minneota High School is designed to provide a necessary alternative for senior high students.  Any teacher in any classroom  from grades K-12 may use an independent study tutor.  The student needs to contact the teacher or teachers may contact a student who is involved with independent study to have him/her in the classroom.

The purpose of the Independent Study Program is to offer the student the option to pursue a subject area not part of the regular curriculum offerings.  It offers students the option to further their knowledge in a specific subject discipline.  It also offers the option to pursue a subject area in which the student might have a conflict with regard to the present schedule.
