Activities:  Fruit Sales, Star Events, Region Meeting, Midwinter Meeting, State Convention, Community Projects, Adopt a Highway

Animated appleFruit Sales is the fundraiser we do every year to raise money for the State FCCLA Convention in Bloomington, MN.

STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) are competitive events in which members are recognized for chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and occupational preparation. There are also 14 different categories to compete in.

The meetings we attend help the members gain knowledge about FCCLA.  The Midwinter meeting is also where the STAR event projects are given.  All the STAR Events that receive a gold rating advance to the State Meeting.  The state meeting held in Bloomington, MN at the Radisson Hotel is where to qualified STAR Events are given to receive recognition.

Community Projects are projects performed around the community by the FCCLA chapter that are volunteer activities.

Adopt a Highway has been a project for the Minneota FCCLA Chapter from many years.  The FCCLA chapter cleans the highway twice a year, and then enjoys rootbeer floats after the highway is clean.
