I was hired to teach language arts and social studies at Minneota Public School in 1992.  This was my first position after graduating from Concordia College, Moorhead that spring. 

I grew up just north and west of the Twin Cities and graduated from Elk River Senior High in 1988. Education has always been a part of my life.  Both of my parents were teachers. My mother taught English and French before moving into a different field and my father taught science and math for 37 years.

I believe that all students should be exposed to a wide variety of experiences that extend well beyond the core curriculum.  Students should take not only the required courses, but those that will make them well-rounded individuals.  We offer many different and excellent courses as well as many extra-curricular activities at Minneota Public. Students should take advantage of all opportunities for growth and enlightenment.
