I received my Bachelor of Science Degree with a Physical Education major at Dakota State College, Madison, South Dakota.  I taught business classes and junior high physical education for a year at Amboy, MN.  For several years I was a "stay at home" Mom and did substitute teaching in the Mankato area. 

After moving to Minneota with our family, I continued to substitute teach in the surrounding area schools.  I then attended elementary/kindergarten classes at SMSU and completed these degrees.

For a number of years I have been teaching lower elementary grades:  combination 3rd/4th, kindergarten, and, presently, first grade.  I enjoy this age level because of their enthusiasm, honesty, creative impulsiveness, and a genuine "willingness to please" attitude.
