I have been teaching at Minneota Public School since the fall of 1991.  It was my first ‘real’ teaching job after graduating from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT in 1990.

I currently teach math in grades 7 through 9, but have also taught physical education and health courses as well.  I am licensed to teach mathematics in grades 7 – 12 and K – 12 physical education.  Before starting a family, I coached basketball and softball.  Now, I enjoy being the assistant golf coach for the MHS team.

Throughout my years at MHS I have always believed that the students here are offered awesome opportunities in academics, extra-curricular activities, and in the fine arts.  The small school atmosphere promotes positive relationships between students and staff.  The staff is dedicated to their profession and really wants every student to succeed.  The kids are great and what really make me love my job.  I am proud to say that I am a part of the Minneota school district.

I am married to Shawn Boerboom and have two children.  We enjoy living in Minneota.  In our free time we like to go to the high school sporting events, play golf and softball, watch our daughter play hockey and other sports, and hang-out with friends and family.
