I have been teaching English at Minneota since the 2002-2003 school year, and I think the students and faculty here are superb.  I’ve had the privilege to teach both junior high and senior high levels.  Currently, I’m involved in the Speech and Mock Trial programs, as well.

I hold a B.A. in English Literature and Religious Studies (1990) and a B.S. in Secondary English Education (2001), both from St. Cloud State University.  Teaching is a second career for me, having begun this adventure after being a Rural Mail Carrier in St. Cloud for several years.

Living in this part of the state is new to me; I grew up in Willmar and Alexandria, but from 1984 to 2002 I made my home in St. Cloud.  I currently live in Marshall and have a houseful of cats.

Aside from teaching, I spend my time gardening, reading, writing, and traveling whenever possible.  I enjoy art of various forms, and photography, and I simply cannot turn down a game of Trivial Pursuit.
