I have been in the education field since 1976.  I taught second grade in Clarkfield for four years.  I then stayed home to raise our two children.  My first teaching position in Minneota was as an LD teacher starting in 1981.  In 1993, I started teaching first grade.  This was a good move as I love the younger children.

My husband, David, raises registered Black Angus cattle.  We enjoy a permanent camping site at Lake Shetek.  Boating and fishing round out our summers.

Our children are both Minneota graduates.  Stephanie and her husband live in Fargo. She is a phlebotomist for the ND Blood Services.  Jeff lives in Brandon and works for Dakota Fluid Power. He and his wife, Sarah, have three children.

I believe that learning should be fun, challenging and rewarding.
