Hi all! 

My name is Kim Gades, and I am one of the coaches for the Minneota Speech Team!

I have been coaching for the MHS Speech Team since 2013. In addition to coaching, I have also been an MSHSL certified speech judge since 2015.

I grew up in Adrian, MN, where I was a 5 year speechie! My categories were Humorous and Storytelling. I never quite made it to state to compete, but I did get to attend as an alternate. That's why it is so special to be able to coach these special kids here in Minneota and try to get them to state! Speech is one of my passions. I love to see the changes in students as they take on a piece and make it their own.
