Mrs. Gillingham

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Gillingham

Hello!  I am Diane Gillingham and I teach 4th Grade math and science at Minneota Public School.  This is my 28th year teaching at my 23rd year at Minneota.  I've always wanted to be a teacher and feel fortunate to have the job I's very rewarding and entertaining.  I can honestly say I love what I do.

I grew up in central Minnesota (Sauk Centre) on a dairy farm with three sisters and four brothers.  I graduated in 1986 and attended college at the U of M, Morris for four years where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and coaching.  After teaching for four years, I started work on my Masters Degree in curriculum and instruction through the U of M which I completed in 1997.

My husband, Brad, is employed with MPCA in Marshall but is better known as the guy who lifts weights--google him or check him  out on you tube!   We have two daughters.  Our oldest daughter, Emily, graduated from Minneota High School and attends college at SMSU.  Our youngest daughter, Lizzy, is a junior at Minneota Public School.

Minneota has been a great place to raise our kids and teach yours:)
