Miss Kim Gades

 

My name is Kim Gades, and I am a 4th Grade teacher at Minneota Elementary.  I started teaching in Minneota in the 2012-2013 school year. I have taught 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in my time here. I am excited about returning to 4th grade reading and social studies this year! I have also served as a speech coach here in Minneota since 2012 for grades 6-12.  

 

I am originally from Adrian, MN.  I attended Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall and obtained degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  Before obtaining a job in Minneota, I worked in several districts in southwestern Minnesota as a substitute and spent a year in Hancock, MN, teaching preschool and kindergarten. 

 

In the summer, I enjoy teaching swimming lessons at the Minneota Pool.
