There will be some homework this year.  When homework is assigned, please help your child make sure it gets done and returned to school by its due date. 4th graders at Minneota have planners to write down assignments each day. 

Almost every week students will have spelling words to study.  Please look for this on Mondays and review them each night.  A little studying each night goes a long way.  Thanks in advance for your help with this!  

Throughout the year, your child will also receive vocabulary words. On Mondays, I will send home a list of these words. We will take quizzes every other Friday and once per quarter. If you could practice these words, it would be appreciated.

 We are working on developing responsible habits that your child will carry throughout the grades.
