About:
Matt graduated from Minneota Public School in 2007. He was involved in football, wrestling, baseball. Matt was a 3x state entry for the Vikings and amassed over 100 victories in his high school career. Matt then attended the University of Jamestown. While at Jamestown, Matt wrestled his freshman year and played 5 years of college football. Upon graduation, Matt and his wife Kaley moved to Colorado Springs, CO. Matt started his wrestling coaching career in 2011 at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs. He was an assistant at Liberty for 3 years. He also was the Head Middle School Coach at Mann Middle School while in Colorado Spings. Matt and his wife Kaley moved back to the Minneota area in the spring of 2014. Matt coached the 2014-2015 season under Jesse Nelson at SMSU. 2015-Present Matt has coached with the Vikings. Matt is also Minneota Public Schools Agricultural Teacher and a assistant football coach. Matt and his wife Kaley have three sons, Ryker, Maddox, and Kaysen.

Kris Fier

About:
Kris graduated from Minneota Public School in 1997. He was Minneota's first State Individual Champion and holds a career record of 64-5, which is the best career win percentage in the history of Minneota Wrestling. He was a Two-Time State Entry. Kris was also a member of the first team to qualify for the Minnesota State Team Tournament in 1996. Kris has been coaching since the 1999 season. Kris has also helped with the youth program. Kris helps his two brothers, Kevin and Kurt Fier on their family dairy farm, Fierview Dairy. Kris is married to Stacy Fier. They have three children; Cael, Talia and Titan.
