Online College in the High School
Minneota High School has a partnership with Online College in the High School (OCHS). Online College in the High School (OCHS) is a unique approach to concurrent enrollment opportunities; offering transfer opportunities in technical and general education. High School students earn dual-credit while participating online in the high school setting.
Special features of the OCHS program include: contracted tuition for the participating high schools, dual credits for students, exclusive courses for high school students, published student success data, and a user-friendly, customized application and registration process.
The program is designed with a goal of promoting open communication between students, faculty, and high school coordinators.
High schools across Minnesota use this unique program partnership. Students are able to stay local and receive college credits that are transferable throughout the country.
Students can take college courses through the following colleges: Northland Community & Technical College, Northwest Technical College, and Alexandria Technical & Community College
The school counselor has handouts listing all the available courses and descriptions of the courses.
