Pre-K Staff

Hello! I am Melinda Stiklestad, and I am the Early Childhood Coordinator and teacher in Minneota. I am originally from the Minneota area and currently live on a farm near Clarkfield, MN with my husband, Steffan, my son Maverick, my daughter Sydnee, and two dogs, Bella and Ruger. I attended college at SMSU and attained degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. My hobbies include doing anything outdoors, gardening/canning, and watching football.  I adore my preschoolers because they are adventurous and curious, are passionate to learn, and are loving to those around them. It’s an incredible feeling to be their “first teacher.” I am proud to be a part of Minneota and the expanding EC programs, and I’m grateful to work with the amazing staff, parents, community, and kids!

 

Hi! I’m Caitlyn Sonnenburg, and I teach preschool and ECFE. My husband and I are from Minneota and live here currently with our daughters, Arya, Charlotte and Brexlee. I love spending time with my family and being active outside.
I love working with this age because the children are excited about learning and reach many milestones. I’m excited to work at the school district that I attended.

 

Hi! My name is Hollie Thompson. I have been teaching Early Childhood Special Education in Minneota for 10+ years!  If you have any concerns about your child's development, please don’t hesitate to contact me. 

My personal life consists of my husband Jerry and my three sons; Braxton, Braden and Blake.  We live on a farm three miles north of Dawson.
