Financial Aid FAFSA Information
Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Department at many colleges and universities recommends that students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online (opens in new window) .
As of October 1st, the FAFSA application is available. Completing the FAFSA is the first step in the college financial aid process. This is a required form for any student seeking federal aid. We encourage all students to complete it regardless of income. Many colleges require students receiving scholarship funds to complete a FAFSA. Additionally, some families complete a FAFSA in order to access unsubsidized federal loan funds that are not income dependent.
