Assistant Boys Basketball Coach
The Minneota Public School District is looking to fill the Assistant Boys Basketball Coaching position to begin in November 2017. Previous experience as a Basketball player and/or coach is required. ECFE Parent Educator
The Minneota Public school
ECFE program has a part-time Parent Educator position open for 2017-2018.
Compensation is $26.53/hour for approximately 5 hours a week for 30

Long-Term Special Ed Substitute
The Minneota Public School District has a K-6 Special Education Teacher long-term substitute opening for the 2017-2018 school year. Minneota is a Reward School located in Southwest Minnesota, (approximately 10 miles northwest of Marshall, MN). We are looking for candidates who act with honor, show respect, and meet high expectations!
· Oversee implementation of the IEP goals for all qualified students for the teacher on leave
· Facilitate IEP meetings that are scheduled to occur in the fall
· Participate in all back-to-school workshops (including the new teacher workshop scheduled for August 10, 2017)
· Maintain accurate and complete records
· Develop lesson plans, instructional activities, and assessments that align to the state standards and assist students with working toward their IEP goals
· Term will run from August 10, 2017 through, October 20, 2017
· A valid MN teaching license – preferably in special education (Learning Disabilities, Emotional Behavior Disorders, ECSE, etc.)
· Willingness to serve on some committees

Junior High Volleyball Coach
The following positions are available at Minneota Elementary
for the 2017-2018 school year:
Minnesota Reading Corps Literacy Tutor (.75 Time Preschool)Minnesota Reading Corps, the country’s largest state AmeriCorps program, has trained and placed over 1,000 literacy tutors in schools across the state since 2003.
As a tutor, you would provide research-based strategies, monitor progress and ultimately, guide students who struggle to read toward becoming successful by the end of third grade. You will see and impact real results with catching kids up to their peers, all while building a valuable professional experience.
It’s an opportunity to explore life in our school and create growth – both in your life and a young child’s life!
Fundamentals of the Preschool (Ages 3-4) Position:
· Serve 11 months as an AmeriCorps member, beginning in August 2017 and ending in June 2018
· Work with small groups, one-on-one and whole group throughout the day
· Attend a 3-day training in research-based strategies and use prescribed literacy interventions and conduct weekly progress monitoring
· A bi-weekly living allowance

We are seeking candidates who have a strong interest in education – specifically helping children develop early language and literacy skills. Experience in working with children, especially in an early childhood setting or as a literacy tutor, is preferred but not required. If you’re a community member dedicated to service, this will be a great fit for you! Computer skills, including the ability to navigate and use online database systems and e-mail, is essential.
